Joint Planning Commission
The Joint Planning Commission (JPC) powers and duties of the Joint Planning Commission are those set forth in Michigan Zoning Enabling Act Public Act 110 of 2006, as amended and the Joint Municipal Planning Commission Public Act 226 of 2003, as amended together with those powers and duties which may be delegated to it by ordinance of the City, Township, Master 425 Agreement, “Schedule A” of the Master 425 Agreement and/or JPC Rules of Procedure. The JPC shall have an equal number of members from both the Township and the City and shall control all land usages for lands subject to a 425 Agreement between the City and Township regardless of whether the 425 Agreement is dated prior to or subsequent ..." The JPC’s jurisdiction shall be limited to those properties subject to 425 agreements as stated in “Schedule A”, Section 2(F) and any additions or exclusions contained in the Master 425 Agreement.
The JPC members are appointed by the Township PC.
